Two funding tiers are available:

  • Small grants (up to $10,000): For grassroots initiatives that directly benefit local communities, strengthen resilience, and support people, places and climate solutions—particularly in towns with populations under 15,000. Projects can run for up to 12 months.
  • Larger leverage grants (up to $50,000): Focused on improving digital skills, confidence and connectivity for adults, supporting access to services, education and employment. These projects can run for up to 18 months.

Priority will be given to projects supporting remote and under-resourced communities, First Nations-led initiatives, and those helping communities navigate generational change.

📅 Applications close: 24 June 2026, 5pm AEST (VIC time)
📢 Funding announced: Late September 2026

⚠️ Note: Organisations may only apply to one SRC stream per grant round.

Our members often say that when you become part of Landcare, you’re not just joining a group, you’re becoming part of a family. The concept is so compatible with Australian culture it’s hard not to get involved! By becoming a TRLA member, you’ll be supporting our work, learning new skills, becoming part of the solution, and helping to make a difference for the future.
