TRLA Small Grants Program

Tamworth Regional Landcare Association (TRLA) run an Annual Small Grants program for Landcare activities connected to the Tamworth region.

Volunteer Landcare and Grassroots Community groups can apply up to $2,500 for activities that meet an objective of TRLA’s strategic plan with eight successful projects being awarded funds from across the region. Projects previously selected have included on ground works, workshops, community gardens, educational and cultural activities, working bees and riparian restoration.

These funds support Landcare groups to deliver environmental and community projects across the region.

TRLA’s mission is to grow the Landcare movement in the Tamworth Region by: Engaging the community using environmental education through promoting sustainability, restoring and conserving biodiversity; and this is just one way we are delivering on our mission.

Local Landcare groups and community groups to get involved, the Expression of Interest process is an easy one and we welcome all ideas.

The Small Grants Program is now CLOSED for 2024.
