ABOUT UPPER PEEL LANDCARE GROUP
Formed in 2012, Upper Peel Landcare Group's original concern was the removal of woody weeds from public lands in Nundle. In
October 2013, the community and UPLG members put in over 180 plants along the Peel River which runs through the town. After some down time,
the group has bounced back with new enthusiasm and in 2021 began working with Nundle Library to set up a Community Garden, at
which several community events and workshops have been held. The group have enjoyed expanding into the realm of hosting music
events such as the Festival of the Halls tour in June and Music in the Regions in November this year. For more information visit www.landcare.nsw.gov.au/groups/upper-peel-landcare-group
