🌿 Welcome Kate Spry, Our New Youth and Education Landcare Coordinator! 🌿
We’re thrilled to introduce Kate Spry, joining TRLA as our Youth Landcare Coordinator. Kate brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for Regenerative Agriculture, with twelve years dedicated to transitioning her own farming practices to regenerative approaches.
Armed with a Bachelor of Education and wide-ranging expertise in regenerative practices, Kate is committed to nurturing the next generation of environmental stewards. Her impressive background includes designing professional learning programs for educators, perfectly aligning with the NW Education and Youth Coordinator role. Kate has a proven track record of creating engaging educational resources and building meaningful partnerships with schools and organizations, all while inspiring a love for the environment.
Among her many achievements, Kate co-developed Australia’s first complete Regenerative School Curriculum with ‘Kiss the Ground’ (USA) and recently collaborated with Southern Cross University to create The Regenerating Journey curriculum, which will soon launch!
Kate has served as the Community Advisory Group Chairperson for the North-West with Local Land Services, sat on multiple committees, including her local Landcare group, and recently completed her post-graduate studies in Marketing. Her dedication to community-driven change and sustainable land practices makes her an invaluable addition to TRLA.
